the blackened sun

running
guards wearing robes
chase me towards a cove
while i wonder in fear where they come from
and behind me i hear the mechanical hum
of my enemy coming up behind me
as i dive off the bluff
i hear the ruff
stop of the atvs
as i stare in disgust
at the blackened sun

streets of hate

Why is man a killer?
is he born to kill?
Are you designed to hate?
that is a classic debate
Can we all learn?
this is the answer for which i yearn
walking the streets of hate
i fear we are to late
because you can't call a woman mother
or a man brother
Why?
Are we all tools in some impartial design?
because without vengence we'd all be fine
War and hate are inventions of man
and because of that i'm kicking a can
walking the streets of hate
my one true freind is my pet dog
who i talk to while we walk across a bog
for animals are nature in its purest form
and though they seem forlorn
we don't all walk a street of hate.

under the knife

Three days ago i went under
three days ago the blunder
as the routine went from bad to worse
and all i could do was silently curse
as the doctor stared in awe
at the gaping maw
as many a nurse ran into the room
and watch my blood pressure zoom
now I'm awakeunable to take
the pain away
and i wonder
am i alive?or dead

inspired by my cousin

the junkyard

Have you ever wondered what happens when things are broken
probably not
heres something to think about
the sun silently beats
on a fleet
of broken cars
and shattered stars
discarded like the rappers off old mars bars
enter the junkyard
where new games are born
and old ones die
this is our choice of living
this is our
junkyard
so think about that next time you lose something
why not?

dark alleys and flaming monkeys

Its dark out this time of year
so lend an ear
in the deep alleyways of the city
people meet, greet and sleep
because not everyone is rich
yes there are poor people in this quiete little niche
and though their clothes are torn and bleached
they don't like to preach
about those dark alleyways and flaming monkeys
yes monkeys
like a gorillas
when they see tortillas
they fight for it
like people without a soul
they fight to survive in a world where each day is a struggle
in a world of dark alleys
and flaming monkeys

Inner Fire

Up against a cliff caught in a briar
i finnaly see what brings out
my inner fire
as i recallrecent events
that started as we pitched tents
a few short days ago
i the dawn's light
i witnessed a fight
on the bank of a hill
my freinds fought for their life
against a bear
and i ran at the beast
and my blow didn't hurt it in the least
but it distracted it long enough
for it to hurl me over the bluff
and light my inner fire
and now i climb up the cliff
while the wind drifts
and i climb up into the brambles
to see my camp in shambles
and my freinds standing wounded but victorious
around the dieing bear
